Replacing Teeth
A dental implant replacing a single tooth is advantageous because you don’t have to sacrifice the health of neighboring teeth. If you are missing several teeth, implant-supported bridges can replace them. When you place a bridge on normal teeth, the gums can recede because the bone deteriorates overtime which can leave a visible defect leading to an unattractive smile. Dental implants integrate with your jawbone, helping to keep the bone healthy and intact. In the long term, an implant can be more esthetic and easier to keep clean than a bridge, and a dental implant will never get a cavity.
